This Judo competition was the second of the many AUS domestic competitions that will span out across the year in different states.

Capturing the competition is part of my routine to shift my focus pre fight, and calm down.

Here’s some brief moments I captured from the Sydney International of some of my fellow athletes in action.

After valued feedback from my previous photos of the Canberra comp, I incorporated a slower shutter speed to capture more movement blur, to convey movement, direction and speed.

I used my Canon EOS M6 M2 with a Canon 55mm-250mm lens during the competitions.
